Specifying the Based On Column

The Data Column, String Case, and Content Case data types allow you to select a data column on which to base symbol substitution.

The Based On field lists the available data columns:

For example, to change the e-mail subject depending on the target audience for an e-mail, create a symbol and choose AUDIENCE in the Based On field.
